Yes. Indian passport holders need a valid Australian visa before travelling to Australia. If your purpose is a holiday, sightseeing or meeting family and friends, you may consider the appropriate Visitor visa option based on your circumstances.
No. Indian travellers should obtain the required Australian visa before travelling. You should not plan to arrive in Australia expecting to receive a tourist visa at the airport.
For many Indian travellers visiting Australia temporarily for tourism, holidays or visiting friends and relatives, the Visitor visa (subclass 600) is the relevant visa option. The exact stream and conditions depend on the purpose and circumstances of your visit.
Yes. Being single, divorced or widowed does not by itself prevent someone from applying for an Australia Tourist Visa. What matters is the overall strength and credibility of the application, including the applicant's travel purpose, financial circumstances and personal ties.
There is no single fixed salary or bank-balance figure that guarantees a visa. Your finances should make sense in relation to your proposed trip. The application should demonstrate that you have sufficient funds, or appropriate financial support, to cover your visit.
No, a confirmed return ticket is generally not required when applying. A clear travel itinerary is sufficient to show your proposed plans. TripVGo can help you prepare a suitable travel itinerary for your visa application. We recommend booking your flight tickets after your visa is approved.
Travel insurance is not required for every visa application. However, for applicants over 70 or with medical conditions, the Embassy may request insurance or additional medical cover on a case-by-case basis. For travel, we recommend everyone carry travel insurance for added safety and protection. TripVGo can help you arrange suitable travel insurance.
