Documents Requirement

Valid Passport – Original Passport issued within the last 10 years, with at least 6 months’ validity beyond the scheduled return date and at least 2 blank pages + old passport if any.

Recent Photograph – 35 × 45 mm – Plain white background, face covering approx. 70-80%. Do not wear a white shirt. Glasses should not be worn.

Application Form - to be filled online and signed by applicant.

Covering Letter – explaining the purpose of visit, on company letterhead, duly signed and stamped, wherever applicable.

Signed invitation containing contact details of the inviting party. Letters must confirm as minimum;

the applicant's identity; the purpose of the journey (meetings, conferences, training or business-related events); and the period and place of intended stay.

National Identity Proof – Aadhaar Card & PAN Card copy.

Travel Documents - ticket itinerary

Hotel booking/accommodation confirmation.

Travel Medical Insurance – Valid throughout all Schengen countries and covering the entire duration of the trip, with minimum medical coverage of EUR 30,000. Austria Missions accept travel medical insurance from approved Indian travel insurance companies only.

Financial Proof- Original Personal bank statements for the last 6 months with Bank stamp sign.

Income Tax Returns for the last 3 years.

Term/Fixed Deposits and property/asset documents, if applicable.

Business Registration Certificate, GST Registration Certificate. Partnership Deed, if applicable.

Company ITRs for the last 3 years. Company Original bank statements for the last 6 months with bank stamp sign.

Salary slips for the last 6 months & Company ID Card copy.

Visiting family/friends: In case of visiting spouse living in Iceland - copy of Marriage Certificate or proof of cohabitation. proof of sponsorship and/or private accommodation from the host. If you are travelling to several Schengen states, proof of accommodation in each of them.

For Salaried Applicants- NOC from employer on company letterhead, duly signed and stamped, Salary slips for the last 6 months & Company ID Card copy.

For Retired Applicants-Retirement/Pension proof, Pension statements for the last 6 months.

For Students- Valid Student ID Card, NOC from School/College, Birth Certificate.

Sponsor’s Financial Documents –  if the trip is sponsored by another person or company, including sponsor letter, identification and financial documents, as applicable.
